Three year with final examination

Regulation
In order to enter the three-year course for the Specialisation Diploma, musicians with possession of a regular diploma or first level degree achieved in Italy or abroad, must take an admission exam.
Admission at the final examination will be subordinated  to the frequency, which must not be below 2/3ds of the lessons imparted totally during the three years.
The board of examiners will be formed, besides the professors, with internationally distinguished musicians.
The students admitted to the final exam under the form of a concert must submit a written application, in a simple letter, addressed to the director and make a deposit of € 200 as examination fee.
The organization reserves itself the right of modifying the regulation, if it eventually should become necessary, in order to make more suitable the development of the courses.
Admission examination program
a) Three movements of a J.S.Bach suite or partita: BWV 995, 996, 997, 998, 1006;
b) One study chosen among the H. Villa-Lobos “Douze Etudes”;
c) Two movements to choose among a 19th or 20th century sonata.
Three-year study program
1. a) two fantasias from the Renaissance period;
b) a suite, sonata, or partita of J.S.Bach; BWV 1001-1013 e BWV 1034-1035;
c) a suite or three pieces from the works of S.L.Weiss, D. Scarlatti, F. Couperin, D. Kellner, R. De Visée, J.J. Froberger, D. Buxtehude, G.Ph.Telemann (for a time limit of 12 minutes);
2. a) a sonata, fantasia, or theme with variations of the Classical period;
b) a composition of the Romantic period;
c) one or more compositions chosen from the works of F. Tárrega, I. Albeniz, E. Granados, M. Llobet, E. Pujol, F.M. Torroba, M. Castelnuovo Tedesco, M.M. Ponce (for a time limit of 15 minutes).
3. a) a 20th century sonata chosen from:
- M. Castelnuovo Tedesco: Sonata "Homage to Boccherini" op. 77
- A. José: Sonata
- M.M. Ponce: Sonata III o Sonatina Meridional
- J. Turina: Sonata op. 61
- C. Scott: Sonatina
b) H. Villa-Lobos: Twelve Studies
c) a composition of J. Rodrigo chosen from:
- Fandango
- Passacaglia
- Zapateado
- Invocacion y Danza
- En los trigales
d) a theme with variations of the 20th century chosen from works by M.M. Ponce, B. Britten, L. Berkley
e) a composition chosen from:
- M. De Falla: Homenaje
- C. Chavez: Tres Pieces
- F. Martin: Quatre Pieces Breves
- H.W. Henze: Drei Tentos
- R. Gherard: Fantasia
- H. Ohana: Tiento
- G. Petrassi: Suoni notturni; Nunc
- E. Krenek: Suite

4. A Concert for guitar and orchestra from the 19th or 20th century.
Final examination program
At the end of the three-year course students must take an exam presenting a 60 minute length (approx.) program, freely taken from the three-year study program.
