The courses are held by the Master Paolo De Gaspari.

Wanting to contribute to the deepening of the study of the clarinet, of bassclarinet especially, the International Bassclarinet Academy of Pordenone organizes a series of courses addressed as to musicians in possession of a basic instrumental technique (clarinet or sax), as to professionals who mean to study in depth the chamber music literature.

The meetings are addressed to musicians, without limitations regardless of age or origin. They as a rule will take place at “Farandola” in Pordenone.
Languages: Italian, English, and French currently.

Formation Course

One-year
- base technique; works for bassclarinet and piano
- 14 annual lessons (part with the piano accompanist) divided into 7 weekend
The course is opened to all those wants to begin a experience with the bassclarinet, it does not preview entrance exam and the program will be agreed with the teacher.

Specialization Diploma Course

Three-year
-contemporary technique; chamber music repertory: analysis and study
- 14 annual lessons (7 with the piano accompanist) divided into 7 weekend
The participation is subordinated to an entrance exam, that it will allow to personalize the formative course, adapting it to the specific individual necessities.

During the course, participants will have to disposal a piano accompanist for part of the lessons.
The application must be submitted by online form. Closing date: September 3th, 2010.
During the school year, in collaboration with “Clarisax day” of Reggiolo (RE – Italy) (international annual event for clarinet and sax), the Academy will give its members the opportunity to experience a stage performance, which is essential for complete professional training.
In order to enable students from various musical backgrounds and non-members of the Academy the opportunity to participate, lessons will be programmed specifically for them.
If interested, they must contact the organization in advance to allow adequate planning for these activities.
At the end of the academic year an attendance certificate will be issued to all students.
